• The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has adjusted the timetable of the ongoing 2015 General Certificate Examination (GCE) in response to request by Muslim candidates.

According to the Head of Nigeria National Office of WAEC, Mr Charles Eguridu, the examination that was supposed to take place from September 25 to October 10 has been rescheduled because of Sallah celebration.

From the new timetable, the Government 2 (Essay) and Government 1 (Objective) that were scheduled for 2pm and 4pm respectively on Friday 18, would now hold by 2:30pm-5:30pm for the papers 2 and 1 on the same date.

The Mathematics (2 & 1) earlier scheduled for Friday, 25th September has been postponed till Saturday October 10, with Paper 2 holding from 9:30am to 12noon and paper 1 from 3pm to 4:30pm.

The HNO said the examination body is concerned about the yearnings of the people.
