• The Kano State Government has approved the sum of N17 million for the purchase of forms for candidates who want to write the 2015 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the state.

    The Commissioner for Justice, Mr Maliki Umar, who made this known after the state’s Executive Council Meeting on Friday, said that the amount will also carter for the training of the candidates for the examination too.

    He reiterated the state government’s determination to develop infrastructure in the state as part of initiatives to improve the welfare of the people and assured that the education sector is at the fore-front of the current administration’s development agenda.
