• UNIJOS Gets New Registrar.

    A new Registrar has been appointed for the University of Jos (UNIJOS). He is Mr. Monday Danjem who until his appointment, was the Deputy-Registrar in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.

    The appointment, which takes effect from the 24th June, 2016, was approved by the Governing Council of the University after considering the Report of the Selection Board for the appointment of a substantive Registrar for the University. It is for a term of five years.

    Danjem, a career University Administrator, takes over from Mr Danjuma Jilli-Dandam whose tenure will end on the 23rd June, 2016.

    Mr Danjem obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree Public Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1990. He has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Jos.

    Mr. Danjem began his administrative career in the University of Jos as an Administrative Officer I in 1997 steadily rising to the position of Deputy-Registrar in 18th November 2012.

    He hails from Jiblik, Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State and is married with six children.
