• The University of Calabar will graduate a total of 7,811 students during the 28th Convocation Ceremony which is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 14th March, 2015.

    Speaking at a pre-convocation press briefing, the Vice Chancellor, Professor James Epoke, said that the graduands include 6,871 undergraduates; 391 masters; 120 Phd; and 429 Post Graduate Diplomas.

    Epoke stated that nine graduating students bagged first class honours, which is the highest number of first class recorded by the institution in the past ten years.

    He attributed the success of the students to the conducive academic environment created by his administration.

    The VC added that the administration has put in place several measures to wipe out social vices in the university with the view to making students work hard and earn their marks.
