• Following the sudden death of a 200 level student of the University of Ibadan, the university management will conduct medical screening of its students to know their health status.

According to the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Isaac Adewole, the screening will ensure such sad incident will not occur again.

He said the university had intensified efforts to reform health services in the institution.

Prof. Adewole noted that there are plans to establish students’ heath services which will be different from the normal heath services in the school.

The VC added that part of the reform of the institution’s heath services is to ensure that all ambulances should be at alert every night while training would also be provided for students on how to handle first aid.
