• The Plateau Government has allocated the sum of N5.89 billion for infrastructural development at the Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos.

Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, the Plateau State Commissioner for Finance, Mrs Temwakat Weli, said the figure was part of the N11.88 billion committed to the education sector in the 2017 budget.

Weli said that the allocation was due to the determination of the state governor, Simon Lalong, to improve the university after several years of neglect by the previous administration.
