The Ondo State government has approved the appointment of Professor Adegoke Adegbite as the acting Vice- Chancellor of Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa.
Until his appointment, Prof. Adegbite was the Head of Department of Biological Sciences at OSUSTECH.
He will replace the first Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Tolu Odugbemi, who completed his five years tenure recently.
Adegbite, a Professor of Botany, who was born in 1959, obtained his first degree from the then University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in Osun State.
He had his Masters of Science and Doctorate Degrees from the same university.
