• The Bauchi State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, Alhaji Musa Abubakar, has assured the newly posted 2015 Batch ‘A’ corps members into the state of their safety throughout their one year mandatory service to the nation.

The corps members, numbering about 3,000 will begin their orientation exercise on Tuesday, 2nd June, 2015.

The coordinator disclosed that the three-week orientation exercise would be held in Mangu Local Government area of Plateau State not necessarily because of any security treat but due to ongoing renovation project in Walo Orientation Camp in Bauchi.

He maintained that corps members have been serving in all the 20 council areas of the state against the perception that some areas are considered black spots following adequate consultations with stakeholders.

Abubakar reiterated that the directorate had been encouraging corps members to accept in good faith the areas of deployment except the married women who have the privilege to redeploy to their husband locations.
