• 17% Students Of Nigerian Turkish Nile University Are On Scholarship – VC

    The Vice-Chancellor of Nigerian Turkish Nile University (NTNU), Prof. Hussein Sert, have said that 17 percent of students in the institution are on scholarship due to their excellent performance in pre-university examinations.

    “Over 17 per cent of our 700 students are studying under scholarship; we offer scholarship to students who perform excellently well in JAMB and WAEC. Also all top performers at the International Science Olympiad get scholarship and we also send students to Turkey for exchange programme,” he said.

    On the quality of lecturers in the school, Prof. Sert said that the minimum qualification for being a graduate assistant in the school is a master’s degree while lecturers must have Ph.D.

    He added that the insitution had students from Turkey, Cameroon, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, among others.
