• The Special Adviser to the Nigerian President on Political Affairs, Prof. Rufai Alkali, has urged Nigerians to attend the National Open University of Nigeria, in order to solve the admission problem in the country.

Speaking at the fourth convocation ceremony of the university held in Lagos, Alkali described the institution as a viable solution to the problem of inaccessibility to university education facing many young Nigerians.

Alkali, who was represented by former Sports Minister, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, called on governmental and non-governmental institutions to show their massive support for the university.

In view of this, he appealed to the National Youth Service Corps and the Nigerian Law School (NLS) to endorse the university by incorporating graduates of the institution into their programmes.
