Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Director of Works and Physical Planning in the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.
The Director of Works and Physical Planning is a Principal Officer, responsible to the Rector and has the overall control of the Works and Physical Planning Department. He formulates the divisional strategies to achieve the institutional goals.
He plans and controls the technical activities of the Department. He is responsible to the Rector and advises him on the acquisition, operation and maintenance of the Institution’s assets. He is also responsible for preparing the Works and Physical Planning Department’s budget and exercises budgetary control.

The Director keeps an inventory of all Polytechnic Vehicles and has responsibility for their maintenance, security, up keep and supervises all the staff in the Department.
Qualification and Experience:
Applicants for the post of Director of Works and Physical Planning must have a good honours Degree or Higher National Diploma Certificate not below Second Class Lower and Lower Credit respectively, plus NYSC Discharge Certificate. In addition, candidates must be fully registered with relevant Professional Bodies with at least 17 years of post-qualification cognate experience in project /works management.
