The management of Landmark University (LMU), Omu-Aran in Kwara state invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies at the Centre for Systems and Information Services;

1. Telecom Technician.
2. E-Learning Administrator.
3. Web Developer /Programmer.
4. Computer Operator.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / DESCRIPTION:

Telecom Technician: OND in Computer Science, Electrical Electronic Engineering and related field.

• Determines sequence of operations by studying the schedule in the computer laboratory.
• Prepares equipment for operations by accessing software in computer; loading paper into printers and plotters; preparing for output.
• Resolves user problems by answering questions and requests in the computer laboratory.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

E-Learning Administrator: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering.

• The E-Learning Administrator will provide day-to-day technical and operational support to the Moodle Learning Management System and other e-learning platform. The administrator will be responsible for technologies leveraging on digital media to instruct and educate our faculties and students.
• Develop and coordinate training for end users of all levels, as dictated by University goals and objectives.
• Help develop and maintain quality standards and procedures related to the LMS.
• Create and maintain user records including curriculum, training assignments, groups, and access privileges.
• Collaborate with teammates and other colleagues to create interactive multimedia training applications and learning programs.
• Build and run custom reports to support training initiatives; track program attendance and participation rates, monitor compliance, review evaluations; present results to the management.
• Confer with internal subject matter, experts knowledgeable parties on course content to ensure that they meet University goals and objectives.
• Participate in managing special projects in the department (e.g. training, content creation, etc.).
• Advocate the continuous improvement of user experience across the University.
• Analyze and update existing processes and suggest improvements.
• Work with existing e-learning tools to develop content layout.

Web Developer /Programmer: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering.

• Develop Web Content Management System.
• Writing programs to handle the collection, manipulation and distribution of data for a wide variety of applications and requirements; Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource.
• Support in training of departmental staff members.
• Create Custom Application web site.
• Web Infrastructure support.
• Selected University Electronic Communications.
• Web Publishing Policies.

Computer Operator: OND in Computer Science, Electrical Electronic Engineering and related field.
