Federal Polytechnic Idah Registrar Missing
The dare-devils has stormed the house of the Registrar, Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State with the where about of the registrar unknown at the moment.
The Gunmen attacked the registrar, Mr. Kareem Abu, at his home this weekend and made away with him to an unknown destination.
At this time no contact has been made by the kidnapper over their motive for the kidnap.
It will be recalled that the Rector of the institution, Mr. Mathew Akpata and the institution’s librarian were also kidnapped last year, making it the third time a high ranking officer of Poly Idah had gone missing.
As the security situation in the country worsens, we call on the government to do its utmost best to secure the lives and property of the common citizen as we are the major components of the country.
The family of the registrar we urge to take heart as we pray that he will be released sooner than later.
