NUC Approves 14 Degree Programmes At Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, IBBU Lapai.
The Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) Lapai has gotten the National Universities Commission approval for 14 academic programmes offered by the institution.
This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Muhammad Maiturare, in Minna during a courtesy call on the Niger state governor, Abubakar Bello.
He said that the NUC gave full accreditation to 11 courses and gave interim accreditation to three other courses presented by the institution.
The approved courses are Business Administration, Agriculture, French, History and International Studies, Agric Education, Biology Education, Geography Education, Mathematics Education, Guardian and Counselling, Food Science and Geology.
The courses NUC gave interim accreditation are Chemistry Education, Computer Science Education and Physics Education.
The VC said that the immense contribution of the state government to the needs of the institution made the feat possible and gave assurance that the proposed medical programme of the institution would be given the needed support. (NAN)
