• About twelve students of the Federal University of Technology Akure is set to benefit from the ongoing collaboration between the institution and the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), Tallahassee, United States of America.

    The students, who are the third set benefiting from the programme, will join the American university to study various courses.

    The students that left are Adegbulugbe Olugboyega, Abioye Festus, Titiloye Gbemileke, Adebisi Elijah (all of Civil Engineering); Egboh Joseph (Metallurgical and Materials Engineering); Ojo Peter (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and Ojo Elizabeth (Agricultural and Resource Economics).

    Five more students will join them for the January 2016 resumption window.

    Also, two alumni of the university are already at FAMU for their Masters and Doctorate programmes, respectively.
