This is contained in the letters of approval signed by the Director of Programmes of the Board, Mr. Musa I. Isgogo on behalf of the Executive Secretary Dr. Mas’ud Adamu Kazaure.

The Board commended the Polytechnic Management for adhering to its admission policy, providing regular and effective staff training and development, attracting and retaining competent staff as well as provision of the needed infrastructural facilities and equipment for workshops and laboratories.

Commenting on the development, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Shuaibu Musa (Dan-Masanin Jama’are) expressed appreciation to the NBTE for the positive out-come of their visit to the institution.

He said the success of the exercise was a testimony of the Management’s efforts in maintaining academic excellence by keeping to its promises on regular staff promotion, training and provision of welfare. He added that the facilities provided are of state-of-the-art quality and urged the staff and students to use them judiciously to bring about the growth and development of the institutions.

The Rector said his decision to mount over 19 additional academic programmes at ND and HND levels during his tenure has yielded fruitful results, as the newly introduced programmes have all been recognised and accredited by the NBTE.

He then challenged the Management, Staff and Students of the institution to do everything possible to maintain and improve on the development.

It would be recalled that from 4th to 10th June, 2017 the Polytechnic played host to a 120 member-team from the NBTE for the routine accreditation exercise. The team carried out the exercise in all the programmes run, including the institutional based accreditation.
