A student of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Temitope Ogunleye, was killed last week by a group of armed-robbers who visited their house.
Ogunleye, a National Diploma II Accountancy student was shot at his father’s house on Number 14, Olorunda, Zone 4 area of Ado Local Government Area.
The dare devils numbering about 12 also attacked the father of the deceased, Mr. Ogunleye, a Principal of Idu High School, Erio-Ekiti, inflicting machete wounds on him.
The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu, confirmed the incident and assured residents that the area would be secured.
