• About 1,500 students were admitted into the Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba during the 2014/2015 academic session matriculation ceremony held recently.

Speaking during the event, the Provost of the college, Dr. Nwanze Ignatius Ezaem, said that out of 1,500 students that were matriculated, 1,200 were NCE full time students, 160 part-time students while 110 were PDE full-time students, adding that 30 were PDE part time students.

Ezaem urged the fresh students to always observe the rules and regulation of the college, as the college has zero tolerance for academic misconduct.

The Provost also disclosed that 36 students were expelled for forging the WASSCE results they used to gain admission into the college.

He said that the students were shown the way out instead of handing them over to the police for prosecution.
