ESUT Gets Full Approval for Industrial Mathematics & Statistics Department.
The Department of Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (IMS) of Enugu State University of Technlogy (ESUT) has been granted 5 year full accreditation by the apex regulatory body – the National Universities Commission (NUC).
At the last accreditation visit in June, the department score an average of 79% in all the indices considered during the peer review exercise.
The team looked at the academic content, staffing, physical facilties, library, funding, employer’s rating and others.
In an interaction with Ezugorie, the immediate past HOD of the department, he expressed happiness over the full accreditation of I.M.S. department.
He also used the occasion to encourage http://kamagrawiki.org UTME candidates to develop love for mathematics which he described as very rewarding and needed in every sphere of life.
Ezugorie said he performed very poorly in the subject in his secondary days due to the general erroneous notion people had about mathematics.
The former HOD thanked the immediate past and the present management for the support given the department and also expressed gratitude to his colleagues and the students for their unalloyed cooperation and efforts to ensure academic excellence in IMS, he used the occasion to appeal to UTME candidates to enroll to study IMS and wished the new HOD Dr. Mrs. Chinelo Igwenagu successful tenure.
