The Federal Government has appointed a Vice Chancellor and Registrar for the newly approved Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko in Delta State.
The appointed Vice Chancellor is Professor Ongoebi Maureen Otebu, a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Port Harcourt.
Also Mr. Anho Nathaniel Esoghene was appointed as the Registrar of the university.
The appointments were contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, National Universities Commission, Ibrahim Usman Yakasai.
