NUT Set To Procure Computers For Lagos Teachers.
The Lagos state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT has said that it would soon begin the distribution of laptop computers to its members to improve e-learning in schools.
This was disclosed by the state chairman of the union, Mr Segun Raheem, on Friday in Lagos.
He said that the distribution of the laptops was in line with the introduction of “tablet to students http://www.valtrexbuynow.com project” by the state government.
Raheem said the equipment would improve the standard of teaching and learning in schools as obtainable in advanced countries.
According to him, the world is going digital and there is the need for teachers to be technologically compliant.
The chairman also stressed the need to improve the welfare of teachers, especially in the areas of their health. (NAN)
