The Federal Government, during the weekly Executive Council Meeting held Wednesday, approved the establishment of the Nigerian Maritime University, which will be located in Okerenkoko, Delta State.
This was announced by the Minister of Information, Senator Patricia Akwashiki, after the meeting.
Her words: “In the meeting, there was a ratification of approval of a provisional license for the establishment of Nigerian Maritime University at Okerenkoko in Delta State”.
It will be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan performed the ground breaking ceremony of the university last year.
