The Federal Government has approved the appointment of vice-chancellors for the four newly upgraded Federal Universities of Education and a Federal University of Health Sciences.
According to a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant, Public Relations and Protocol to the Minister of Education, Mr Sul Ya’u Sule, the appointments will take effect immediately.
The newly appointed Vice-Chancellors are; Prof. Martins Aghaji for Federal University of Sciences, Otukpo, Benue state; Prof. Richard King for Adeyemi University of Education, Ondo state; Prof. Sadiq Abubakar for Alvan Ikoku University of Education, Owerri, Imo state; Prof. Victor Awonusi for Federal University of Education, Kano state and Prof. Ibrahim Kolo for Federal University of Education, Zaria, Kaduna state.
All the appointments were approved by President Goodluck Jonathan.
