• Officials of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), who were arrested by the police in Ekiti State for criticizing the current administration at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally, has been released after spending three days in detention.

    The arrested student leaders are the  National Vice-President, External, Tosin Ogunkuade; a former Chairman, NANS Joint Campus Committee, Ekiti State, Oluwadamilare Bewaji, and Idowu Odebunmi.

    Confirming the release, the Ekiti State Police Commissioner, Taiwo Lakanu, said that the students were released on bail.
