The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), last week, inducted about 1,300 teachers at the Delta State University, Abraka.
Speaking at the event, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of TRCN, Prof Mark Wokocha, urged the graduates to always abide by the rules governing the teaching profession in their practice as professional teachers.
He appealed to the new teachers to be faithful, loyal and exhibit true allegiance to the teaching profession in discharging their duties.
Also speaking, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Victor Peretomode, represented by the Deputy VC (Administration), Prof. Rose Aziza, congratulated the inductees and hailed the TRCN officials for giving licence to the graduates.
The event was the maiden registration and third induction for graduates of Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Bachelor’s degree in Education.
