• Kano State Government Sponsoring 200 Students At Crescent University

The Kano state governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso during a visit to Crescent University where he spoke extempore to Kano students in Hausa as part of a programme to develop education in Kano, said that at least 200 kano students are being sponsored by the state government.
Crescent founder Bola Ajibola said the country needed more people like the Kano governor, insisting the visit to Kano students studying in Abeokuta was “the product of our effort to bring the north and south of Nigeria together” by propagating education cohesion.
Crescent vice-chancellor, Kehinde Okeleye, said continued sponsorship of Kano state for its students, including providing them a laptop each, had positive impact on their performance.
He added the school needed support to float a medical and health science programme in nearest future.
