• Crawford University Igbesa last weekend held the matriculation ceremony for 262 newly admitted students of the 2014/2015 academic session.

Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samson Ayanlaja warned the freshers to steer clear of any act of indiscipline as the institution is strict on discipline among its students and other members of the university community.

He noted that no student must be on Cumulative Gradient Point Average (CGPA) that is below 1.0 out of the possible 5.0, saying otherwise such student will be withdrawn from the university on academic ground.

Prof. Ayanlaja made it known that attendance during church services including Sunday school is compulsory for every student, as failure to comply could equally lead to suspension.

The vice-chancellor congratulated the new students and promised them that the university would provide all necessary things that would make their stay rewarding.
