• The Benson Idahosa University campus has been moved to its permanent site at Okha, Edo state.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ernest Izevbigie, who announced the development, said that the movement represented the attainment of a milestone in the history of the institution.

Izevbigie added that the movement was in line with the National Universities Commission’s mandate for every university to endeavour to move to its permanent site within its first 15 years.

He also called on the host community to work in harmony with the university.

Only the Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology were moved to the new campus.
