• The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Julius Okojie, has charged the American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola, to collaborate with its American partners to develop research in the area of nanotechnology.

He also called on Nigerian institutions to collaborate amongst themselves for their mutual benefits.

Speaking during the tenth anniversary and 7th Convocation of AUN in Yola, the Executive Secretary, who was represented by NUC’s Visiting Professor, Mohammed Hamisu, called on the Management of the University to ensure the delivery of high quality education to its students, through regular curriculum review that would ensure that graduands compete favourably in local and global markets.

The NUC Scribe advised those who made First Class among the graduands to consider applying for the Presidential Special Scholarship for Innovation and Development (PRESSID) scheme, to avail themselves the opportunity to study in the top 25 universities in the world.
