Augustine University Ilara Admits 54 Pioneer Students.
Augustine University, Ilara-Epe admitted a total of fifty four pioneer students from the Faculties of Humanities and Management Sciences and Sciences during the 2015/2016 Academic session matriculation ceremony of the University.
In attendance were the Proprietor and the Archbishop and Metropolitan of the see of Lagos- Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins, the University Visioner and initiator- His Eminence Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, NUC Executive Secretary-Prof. Julius A. Okogie, University Chancellor- Rt. Rev. Monsignor Dr. John Aniagwu, University Pro Chancellor- Chief Gilbert T. Grant, members of the Board of Trustees, members of the Governing Council, a host of dignitaries from other Universities around, Priests and Religious from the Catholic (Arch)Dioceses of Lagos and Ijebu-Ode, parents and well wishers.
The Matriculation lecture titled “Identity Capital for Learning and Leadership” was given by Prof. Isaac Ukpokolo from the Department of Philosophy, University of Ibadan.
