About 12,000 students where formally admitted into the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, during its 32nd matriculation ceremony held on Friday, 13th March, 2015 for the 2014/2015 academic session.
Speaking at the event, the Rector, Dr. Philipa Idogho, congratulated the new students as they were among the “thousands” who participated in the post-UTME screening and scaled through.
Idogho said the institution had a responsibility to train the students in both character and learning, in line with vision of the school and urged the students to remain focused and resist the temptation to be negatively influenced by people of questionable character.

She stressed that the institution’s management had put in place measures to check improper dressing, cultism, examination malpractice and other social vices.
The Registrar, Dr. Margaret Ashikpelokha, who administer the oath of matriculation, called on the students to subscribe to rules and regulation guiding the institution, as members of the academic community.
