ANSU Resumption Date for 2019/2020 Session.
*Update** The Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Professor Greg Nwakoby, on behalf of the Management of the University, has directed that the University Community be informed that the University is closed until further notice.
The closure is based on the directive of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief (Dr) Willie Obiano, to close all schools in the state.

The Management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Uli wishes to inform the general public that the university will resume academic activities for the following groups of students on Monday, 21st September 2020.
- All Final year students for the commencement of 2019/2020 Session Second Semester Lectures.
- Second and third-year students of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences for the commencement of 2019/2020 Session First Semester Examinations.
- Second MBBS students for Basic Medical Sciences for the commencement of 2019/2020 Session First Semester Examinations.
All the students are expected to return to the University on Monday, 21st September 2010.
All first year students are expected to return to the University on Thursday, 13th August, 2020 while Examinations will start on Thursday, 20th August, 2020. Also all Final year students of the College of Medicine should return to Awka Campus of the University for their Mock Examinations in preparation for their Final Examinations.
All the returning students should note that observance of NCDC guidelines on COVID-19 preventive measures is mandatory. They should always have their sanitizers and wear their face masks at all times within the University.
