The Management of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin has approved the appointment of Prof. Abdulganiyu Adeola Badmus as acting Deputy Vice Chancellor.
His appointment was confirmed following the recommendation of the Vice-chancellor and approval by the Governing Council at its 16th regular meeting held on 5th May, 2015.
The new acting DVC, a professor of Mathematics, was until his appointed the Dean, College of Natural Sciences.
In a circular released by the Registrar of the University, Prof. Badmus will hold this position until the appointment of a substantive Deputy Vice-Chancellor who will take over from the incumbent DVC, Prof S.A Abdulkareem whose tenure will soon expire.
The circular therefore urges all members of the University community to relate with the new acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor accordingly.
