Wavecrest College of Hospitality Holds 2016/2017 Session Matriculation Ceremony.
No fewer than forty seven students were admitted into the Wavecrest College of Hospitality, Lagos during the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2016/2017 Academic Session held recently in the institution.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Provost of the college, Ifeoma Nwabachili, welcomed the new students into the institution and challenged them to always exhibit accountability, responsibility and authority throughout their stay in the school.
The Guest Speaker at the event, Nancy Usman, who is an alumni of the College, delivered a speech titled “Hospitality: Hope for the Nation.”
Usman, who is the Groups and Events Account Manager, Four Points by Sheraton, reaffirmed herself as an ever faithful Flag Bearer of the college.
She said her stay in the college is the foundation of the heights she has attained in her career in hospitality today.
The speaker appreciated her lecturers, especially Gloria Inyangudo and Zaina Silva as well as her course adviser Belinda Nwosu for all their support and encouragement.
She encouraged the students to be focused, hardworking and to make the right choices on a daily basis.
The ceremony was witnessed by members of the Board of Directors of the college as well as the members of the Governing council.
