The Veritas University, Abuja will hold its Second and Third Convocation / Prize-Giving ceremonies on Wednesday February 25, 2015, following relocation from its temporary site in Obehie, Abia State.
The ceremony will begin with a Eucharistic celebration at 9.00am, followed by the Convocation activities at 12 Noon prompt at the University Campus.
The event is scheduled to confer the award of First Degrees to One Hundred and Fifty One (151) gradaunds in the various Disciplines; therefore fulfilling the fundamental Mission of forming Professionals for various endeavors in the society.
The convocation ceremonies will be preceded by a Convocation lecture, to be delivered by Most Rev. Dr. Godfrey Onah, the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at the National Universities Commission Auditorium, Maitama District, Abuja at 4.00PM prompt.
The Conference of Catholic Bishops of Nigeria, whose vision realized the establishment of the Catholic University Abuja, therefore invites the general public to witness the event.
Also the management, staff and students of Veritas University, Abuja welcome everyone to this epoch making event.
