UNIOSUN Graduates 51 First Class Students.
A total of 3,164 students will receive their first degree certificates during the combined fourth and fifth convocation of the University of Osun (UNIOSUN) scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 8th to Wednesday, 9th March, 2016.
Speaking at a media briefing, the acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oguntola Alamu, stated that the university would graduate the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 academic session students in the six faculties of the institution.
He said that 27 of the graduates in the 2013/2014 session and 24 in 2014/2015 session bagged First Class degrees.
The vice-chancellor said that the university had maintained a tradition of excellence in teaching and character molding, adding that the school had produced intellectuals, who were contributing to the development to the nation’s economy.
He said that the university remained committed to the full implementation and evaluation of its 2012-2016 Strategic Plan. (NAN)
