About 65,000 candidates registered for the University
According to a statement by the Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs of the institution, Mr. Kunle Akogun, the candidates scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and made the University their first choice.
He said the examination will be conducted using the computer-based test (CBT) method.
Akogun advised candidates to bring with them to their respective centres printed copies of their examination schedules, which indicate that they are slated to write the examination at a particular date and time.
He added:”Candidates for the pre-admission screening exercise were also advised to be decently dressed, as candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the screening premises.
“Also, phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises,” he said.
It will be recalled that over 107,000 candidates applied for admission into the University this year throught the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
