Speaking during the pre-convocation medias briefing in llorin, the Unilorin Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali, said that sixty seven of the graduating students bagged First Class degrees.
In a further breakdown of the results, the VC said 1,505 graduating students made Second Class Upper division grade while 3,200 graduated with Second Class Lower division. Another 1,124 made Third Class and 70 got Pass degrees.
Ambali expressed delight that the university under his watch in the last four years has recorded giant strides in academic excellence which according to him, have made the institution number one choice for admission seekers.
He warned those seeking admission into the university to be wary of swindlers as the university does not offer fake admission.
The VC said the university will commission 15 projects during the convocation which includes 6.5km Main Campus-College of Health Sciences link road, new Senate Chamber, office block for Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, block of Laboratories for Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, among others.
