The University of Lagos, Akoka, on Tuesday, held the swearing-in and inauguration ceremony of the Students’ Union Legislative Council in the Senate House.
The inauguration was conducted by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Rahamon Bello and was preceded by an election of officers of the Legislative Council.

The inauguration of the legislative arm of University of Lagos Students Union without representatives from College of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy and Halls of residence at Idi-Araba is a slap to the rule of law. How will the school management explain the this absent and non-representation of Idi Araba students from University of Lagos Students Union (ULSU) ? Again, I cry for the future of Nigeria. Imagine the seeds our professors are sowing ??
