The management of the University of Lagos wishes to inform all members of the university community, particularly Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments and Units, that they are implored to use the authentic logo of the University in all publications (website, brochure, file, calendar, etc).
The soft copy of the authentic logo can be collected at the Information Unit, 8th Floor, Senate House, University of Lagos, Akoka. Below is a brief description of the UNILAG logo:
The logo of the University of Lagos is represented by a rising sun embedded in the green-white-green of the nation’s flag, a book and the lagoon, depicting academics and the natural environment of the University respectively.
The motto of the University – IN DEED AND IN TRUTH – depicts the democratized manner in which the University of Lagos conducts her affairs without recourse to gender, colour, ethnic and other demographic considerations.
