COVID-19: UNILAG Donates Hand Sanitizers To LUTH.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has donated packs of hand sanitizers to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in a bid to support the current fight against the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.
The locally made hand sanitizers were produced by the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology and was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. (Mrs.) Glory Ajayi to the management of LUTH recently.
Speaking during the presentation, Prof. Ajayi said the donation was done in order to identify with LUTH and by extension, the Lagos State Government and the nation as the courageous and patriotic fight against the COVID–19 pandemic rages on.
On receiving the sanitizers, the Chief Medical Director of LUTH, Prof. Chris Bode, expressed deep gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and the entire University of Lagos community for the kind gesture.
