Attention: Extortion On UNILAG Certificate Release.
The attention of Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has been drawn to the unpleasant situation whereby graduates of the university are being extorted before their certificates are released.
The extortion is in the guise of requesting graduands to “wash” their graduation.
Management at its meeting held on Monday, March 14, 2016, condemned this act and advised that it should be stopped immediately as it would not be tolerated.
All concerned are enjoined to ensure strict compliance with Management’s directive.
