A senator representing Akwa Ibom North East, Sen. Ita Enang, has donated a library to the University of Calabar Law Faculty.
The lawmaker, who is an alumni of the university, said that the library would promote quality teaching, learning and research.
The library building was formally opened last week by the Vice-Chancellor of UNICAL, Professor James Epoke, who thanked the senator for his benevolence.
The VC assured that the library will be properly maintained.
Law students at the University of Calabar expressed their happiness for the new library donation.
