Umaru Musa Yar’adua University UMYU Gets New Registrar.
Following a recent interview conducted for the post of Registrar, the governing council of the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina has approved the appointment of Nasir Bello as the new Registrar.
Until his appointment, Bello was a staff of Directorates of Public Affairs, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
Nasir Bello was born on 26 Kuly 1967 at Katsina, he attended his primary and secondary schools At Jibia and Daura respectively and obtained certificates in 1977 and 1982.
He went to Katsina Polytechnic and obtained a diploma in 1985, in 1995 he graduated from Usman Danfodio University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.
He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration in 2001 from A.B.U Zaria and is currently undergoing a master’s Programme in Public Administration at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
His appointment takes effect from 12th December 2016.
Until he assumes office, the Academic Secretary Ibrahim Wada Sani will oversee the affairs of the Office of the Registrar.
