University Of Ibadan Expels 97 Students.
The management of University of Ibadan has expelled about 97 students from the institution over their poor academic performance as they failed to obtain the minimum academic requirements for the 2014/2015 session.
The affected students, who are from seven faculties, have been asked to withdraw based on the recommendation of the University’s Senate which sat recently.
According to a bulletin signed by the Registrar of the institution, Olujimi Olukoya, it explained that three of the students voluntarily withdrew from the institution.
It states, “Senate at its meeting approved that the candidates whose names appear on this list should withdraw from the University for failure to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of 2014/2015 session.”
Some of the rusticated students were in final year.
