A total of 6,443 students were admitted into the University
Speaking at the event, the vice chancellor of UI, Prof. Isaac Adewole, said that about 7,716 candidates applied for admission into the programme for the session.
He said the computer based testing process for the selection of candidates that was introduced a few sessions ago had improved the performance and versatility of DLC students in the use of technology for learning and communication.
Prof. Adewole added that the institution had embarked on the construction of a 1,500-seater Computer based Test Centre along Ajibode/Shasha road to ease delivery platform to students.
