The management of Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo has constructed a new Staff Quarters to tackle the accommodation challenge being faced by the staff of the institution.
At the commissioning of the housing, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Sani Yahaya, said that it became imperative for the school authority to provide a benefiting and comfortable accommodation for the staff to boost their morale for optimum service.
He further noted that housing is a necessity to all mankind hence the need to provide for the staff this structure even though some people are still illegally occupying some of the quarters.
Yahaya pleaded with the state government to issue directive for immediate evacuation of some illegally occupied portions of the quarters and to also assist the university in completing the remaining houses so that they canbe fully occupied.
