• TETFund Executes Projects Worth N869.53m At Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto.

    The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) has executed more than N869.53 million projects at the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, between 2013 and 2014.

    This was made known by the Provost of the college, Dr Dikko Goshe, in an interview in Sokoto last Thursday.

    Goshe said that the projects were successfully executed under the normal and special interventions windows of the fund.

    The provost said the projects included the construction and furnishing of the Schools of Adult, Non-Formal and Special Education, which gulped more than N38.63 million.

    Others were the construction and furnishing of School of Early Children and Primary Education at the cost of about N38.63 million.

    In the same vein, the projects executed in 2013 under the special intervention windows of the fund were the construction of examinations office building and the construction of School of General Studies at about N79.72 million and N189.42 million, respectively.

    Goshe said that the 2014 normal intervention projects included the construction and furnishing of a 900-capacity library complex which gulped about N295.9 million.

    Besides, the fund spent about N227.2 million in 2014 special intervention window on the construction of office blocks and other external works. (NAN)
