Currently, no tuition fees are charged in Finish Universities regardless of your nationality. However you must independently cover all your living expenses. Bachelor’s and Doctoral level programmes as well as many Master’s level programmes do not charge any tuition fees, regardless of your nationality. This also applies to the international degree students and to exchange and visiting students as well. However, some Master’s programmes may charge tuition fees from non-EU/EEA students.
Below are some of the tuition free universities in Finland for international students;
University of Helsinki
University of Eastern Finland
University of Jyväskylä
University of Lapland
University of Tampere
University of Vaasa
University of Turku
University of Oulu
Åbo Akademi University
Helsinki University of Technology
Lappeenranta University of Technology
Tampere University of Technology
Remember that even when there are no tuition fees, you still need to plan your finances – you are expected to independently cover all your everyday living expenses during your studies in Finland

Hello,I would like to know the entry requirements and criteria for admission for a Bachelor’s Degree Programme in English for a tuition free university in Finland. I’m hoping to study computer and Information Tehnology or International Business Studies. I have an Upper Secondary certificate and a Certificate in Business Information Systems of Association of Business Executives UK from Zenith University in Ghana. I would like to know what my chances are for gaining admission. Thank you.
