SSANU

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) as the name implies is a trade union for only senior members of staff in Nigerian universities. Just like most other trade unions in Nigeria, they have always been in disagreement with the government. Ssanu strike, whenever it happens, cripples administrative as well as academic activities in the universities as their members actually control the leadership of the institutions.
